Interesting Drives to Take in Your MAZDA Car This Summer

Summer is the perfect time for getaways, and we’re close to so many interesting drives. In fact, when you’re looking up “interesting drives near me”, you’ll see that Colmar, PA, is central to many hotspots. North Penn Mazda shares a few of our favorites.
Bucks County Covered Bridge Tour
Just 20 to 30 minutes from Colmar, you can take your own self-guided tour of the Bucks County covered bridges. The 90-mile loop can be broken down into two- or three-hour drives, so you can decide how much time you want to spend on the road. The trip starts at Washington Crossing Historic Park and includes several 19th-century historic covered bridges.
Delaware River Valley
If you want to venture out a little further, consider visiting Delaware River Valley. The popular scenic drive features riverside towns, farmland, river cliffs, and views of the Appalachian Mountains. The 19-mile route also includes Point of Gap Overlook at the south end of the recreation area, giving you the perfect backdrop for photos.
Gateway to the Endless Mountains
While it takes a couple hours to get there, the spectacular views along this Highway 6 drive are certainly worth it. The high-elevation drive spans 38 miles and includes the tree-covered Endless Mountains and vistas along the Susquehanna River. Make sure to mark off time to get out and explore Riverside Park during your trip.
