Does the MAZDA CX-5 Have Third-Row Seating?

As one of the top-selling Mazda models, many drivers are drawn to the Mazda CX-5. However, that comes with lots of questions, such as what type of performance it has and how big it is. North Penn Mazda shares whether or not there’s Mazda CX-5 third-row seating.
MAZDA CX-5 Interior Space
The Mazda CX-5 does not have three rows of seating. It’s actually a two-row SUV, which comfortably seats up to five. The compact SUV also has a generous 33.7 cubic-foot cargo area, which expands to 66.5 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down completely.
MAZDA CX-90
If you need more passenger space, we encourage you to check out the Mazda CX-90. The midsize SUV has three rows of seating with seating for up to eight. It’s also available with second-row captain’s chairs, giving it seating for seven.
This spacious SUV has a 14.9 cubic-foot cargo area, which increases to 40 cubic feet with the third row down, or 74.2 cubic feet with both rear rows folded down.
MAZDA CX-90 PHEV
The three-row SUV is also available with an efficient plug-in hybrid powertrain. The Mazda CX-90 PHEV is available with six- or seven-passenger capacity.
Models with a two-person third row have 15.9 cubic feet of cargo space, which expands to 40.8 cubic feet with the third row down, and 75.2 cubic feet with the rear rows flat. The models with a three-person third row have the same amount of cargo space as the Mazda CX-90.
