You can get a lot of power out of the 2024 Mazda CX-50. Its available SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter twin-scroll turbo engine delivers up to 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque, giving you plenty of acceleration in city and off-road environments. By comparison, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 features a standard 3.3-liter inline-six turbo engine that generates 340 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque out of the gate.
Towing Capacity
Both of these models would be an excellent choice for towing-minded drivers. The 2024 Mazda CX-50 can tow up to 3,500 lbs with the right engine and towing package. However, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 is rated to tow up to 5,000 lbs.
