MAZDA Collision Center FAQ

CX-30 repair

For most drivers, visiting our Mazda collision center isn’t a common occurrence. While that’s great news, it can make it difficult for motorists to know what questions to ask when they need extensive repairs. To make things easier, we’ve put together a list of questions you should ask when you visit a collision center or body shop. If you don’t see your inquiries on our list, contact North Penn Mazda so we can answer them directly.

Will I Receive a Written Estimate?

When you look through the new Mazda vehicles at our location, it can be hard to imagine any of them needing repairs. Any number of things can damage a car and require it to undergo repairs, such as extreme weather and accidents. If your automobile needs repairs for any reason, we’ll give you a written estimate up front so you won’t be surprised by your bill once the repairs are done.

How Does Your Collision Center Differ from Your Service Department?

Our collision center handles non-mechanical repairs, such as installing new glass and other components that have been damaged. By contrast, the experts in our Mazda service department address mechanical issues, including engine problems and transmission woes. The technicians in our Mazda service center also perform maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.

When Will My Car Be Ready?

Everyone wants to get their vehicle back as soon as possible, and we do our best to accommodate them. When you drop your automobile off, we’ll give you an estimate of when it will be ready for pickup. Keep in mind that the timeline may change based on the extent of any unseen damage.

Do You Provide Updates?

Yes, we’ll keep you updated on the progress we make with the required repairs. If your vehicle needs more extensive work than originally planned, we’ll let you know ASAP. Similarly, we’ll alert you if the repair timeline has changed so you can make alternative arrangements for transportation.

What Is Your Payment Policy?

We’ll work with your insurer to collect payment for covered repairs. Once we settle with your insurance company, we’ll discuss the remaining balance with you. We accept credit and debit cards, checks, and cash payments when it’s time to pay your bill.
