If you want the utility of an SUV but don’t want to sacrifice engaging driving dynamics, a Mazda SUV is for you. Sport utility vehicles that bear the Mazda name are available in a range of sizes and with different powertrains, ensuring there’s a model that will support your lifestyle seamlessly. The team at North Penn Mazda gives an overview of each model in the lineup.

MAZDA CX-5

“Fun to drive” is a phrase you’ll often hear in Mazda SUV reviews, and perhaps no model encapsulates that better than the Mazda CX-5. It’s also highly tech-forward, with tech features including a 10.25-inch infotainment display and voice recognition. In the safety department, you’ll be able to take advantage of adaptive cruise control and a blind-spot monitor.

MAZDA CX-30

Currently the smallest Mazda SUV, the Mazda CX-30 is available with two engines, producing up to 250 horsepower. Despite its comparatively small size, the Mazda CX-30 has an accommodating cabin. The SUV has comfortable seats for five adult passengers. With its back seats folded, the SUV has 45.2 cubic feet of cargo space.

MAZDA CX-50

Whether you prefer the gas-only Mazda CX-50 or the hybridized Mazda CX-50 Hybrid, you’ll enjoy a spacious cabin, lively dynamics, and state-of-the-art features. All-wheel drive keeps both SUVs sure-footed on slick streets. Features like wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity and stop-and-go adaptive cruise control give these models a modern feel.

MAZDA CX-70

A five-passenger midsize SUV, the Mazda CX-70 is offered as a traditional SUV and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. Both models have 75.3 cubic feet of cargo room with their rear seats folded. A panoramic sunroof is standard for each SUV.

MAZDA CX-90

Similarly sized to the Mazda CX-70, the Mazda CX-90 comes in two variants – a gas-powered model and the Mazda CX-90 PHEV. Both models have three rows of seats, allowing them to transport six to eight passengers. The gas-only Mazda CX-90 can tow up to 5,000 lbs when properly equipped, while the PHEV can tow as much as 3,500 lbs with the appropriate equipment. Tri-zone automatic climate control and a power liftgate are standard for both SUVs.
